Shed loads mate, whatever floats my boat. Current flavour of the month, though not 40K is a Sten Mk5 with a 1k internal mag.

Cool. Is that one of the Shoot N' Scoot Stens? What's it like?

Currently, for normal skirmishes, I’m running with the following:
Bulle MkII ACU BDU with either forage cap or boonie.
Bulle MOLLE MLE Harness
1 x triple MOLLE ACU AK47 magazine pouch (holds 9 x M16 or 6 x AK47 mags)
1 x 1qt size utility pouch with dump-pouch drawstring top (acts as utility/dump pouch)
1 x single M16 pouch mounted high on chest (holds XL Speedloader)
1 x grenade pouch (for either grenade or grenade shape speedloader)
1 x small utility pouch mounted high on chest (ideally sized for and is used for my mobile phone!)
1 or 2 issue OG ammunition bandoliers (loose BB’s in small bags – only used for all day scenarios and weekends)
1 x pair Hi-Tech, all leather combat boots (hopefully to add a pair of Oakleys to this next year).
5 x MAG AK47 Mid-Caps or 3,000 round M16 autowind C-Mag (depending on AEG)
Main arms:
Jing Gong AK47 Beta-f AEG. With torch and laser mounted, folding stock removed with single point bungee sling.
I can also use either my – ACM M14 Socom or Dboys Mk12 SPR Mod.0 but currently I still favour the smaller, lighter and just as hard hitting AK, the SPR is “hot” so can’t be used currently and I actually am not liking the Socom to such an extent I’m going to sell it and its bits when I get registered (offers welcome now from known skirmishers). Nothing “wrong” with it as such…it just doesn’t fit Me, and with the same length of the SPR I’m not really gaining anything in regards skirmish ability.
M14 was mainly bought for the Grim Darkness system but I’m looking at my AK and thinking “Bolter” so its likely not to be used now.
For Grim Darkness / 9th events I have regulation Brad-Pat BDU, black duty belt and canteen, RGJ beret and I’m currently looking at getting LC2 webbing set and body armour options.
- BTW – have an ACU tac-vest for sale on ASCUK -

I don't think I've ever used the same thing twice to skirmish.

Cool. Is that one of the Shoot N' Scoot Stens? What's it like? H/Stamper Yep, It is sweet as, but the paintwork needs a propper going over, as it comes in a "Factory New" condition, I want it to look a bit battered. Not a problem with the AEG, but with the real steal is that shooting round corners is a nightmare.

Yep, Kind of devised a new tactic to suit the new gun, Fire from the hip on the run, might not be nessesery, but I scream as I charge.

That sounds like the standard 'commando comic' assault tactic, nice one. I'm not surprised the Shoot n scoot Sten looks nice - if you replicated the original no-one would buy it due to the messy build quality! (I've got a de-act mk2 Sten for Re-enactment, and the welding and construction is just terrible - but at the price we were making them for in the war you can't complain).
Tally ho

A few of the welds are deliberatly messy, but it is still nice. I wouldnt recomend them unless you really want to get into brit WW2 airsoft.

Somewhere I have pics, probably easier to re-take 'em, its still a work in progress as the front hand guard went "sproing" into many differant peices. It has a temporary guard on it and a cammo cover.

Hmm, my current airsoft gear stands at:
G36k/lasgun Custom TM Benelli Shotgun (looks the dogs danglies) Tanaka S&W .44 magnum M629 PC Marui Desert Eagle .50AE Marui SR-16
However, I've been a bit of a collecter and for the last 5 or so years Ive been buying guns and selling them on, sometimes for a profit if ive done some work on them. Over the years I have had:
AK-47s M16A2/M203 M4A1/M203 custom Benelli M3 (a different one) M60E3 MP5k resident evil kit (looked amazing- did it up like Raines from the first resi evil film!) sawn off double barrel shotgun (Haw San, gas NBB, took shells which shot 1-8 bbs a go, great fun!) M870 sawn-off pistol-foregrip pump-action shell ejector Maverick KAC (classic airsoft) Mac 11 (suppressed) Vz 61 Skorpion .45LC single action army artillery (custom grips) S&W M629 classic .44 magnum 8" barrel 2x matched SV 6" Infinities Colt 1911A1 Sig P232 Colt Combat Commander
God, thats a shock... at any time ive only had 5 or so though, so the capital cost hasnt been that high. Supported it all with a basic student job!
After all that, in the end my weapon of choice is the tanaka performance centre, which will be my scarovian backup. closely follwed by the SAA but I got rid of it in the end. would love another though. second best is the TM shotguns- TBH I play better when they have a stock though and my current one doesn't. Least of all do I enjoy playing with AEGs, although I do get a loot more kills when im using a good one. So far my g36K hasnt really performed, and now the mags wont feed..
In terms of camo, nothing flashy- I normally wear a bit of DPM with some webbing for my bits and a pistol holster for whatever I'm packing. when I used to skirmish with a CQB team we would do the whole SAS thing though, which looked good. I also have the children of men kit around somewhere.
outside of airsoft Ive got a webley stingray air rifle for general use and before the ban I had a Brocock Magnum. I'm into clay shooting too, been involved with a club for 3 years but only just applying for my shotgun certificate.
