Gunman, end of the year?

Looks like a few fellas on Arnies are beginning to organise a 40K themed event. Here's the thread on Arnies about it, I've posted in it saying we'd be interested in attending, just have to see where it's going.

For those who can't read Arnies, the guy who runs Gunman is talking about hosting a themed event, with Guardsman wearing ACUs/Woodland BDUs with G36s, and Chaos members wearing "chav" gear, and possibly some Scav mercs as well from some western loadouts he has. He's thinking around the end of the year.

Thoughts?

I've posted an introduction of sorts as it was clear there was some misconceptions about us.

I'm also interested in Gunman fo a Grim Darkness event in the future so the more links the better.

Likely because we've already been speaking to them about an event and several members have attended in full kit.

Thats what I thought as well. There was a comment about there being only 3 of us with kit, not entirely accurate is it.

Guess it was accurate in that there are photos of three of the guys at Gunman in kit. Not accurate in that more of us have it now.
looks like this game is a goer for the end of November, although Josh is promoting it as a game 'inspired by 40k' to avoid any legal schtick. I'm certainly up for it unless it clashes with the Doctor Who U.N.IT. game.

I thought it was September but end of the year will be perfect. Will give plenty of chances for people to get the rest of the kit together.

(should have my SCAR-L mod by then as well).

Actually, is this a weekend event or just a day?? I'm absolutely up for it whatever it is, I mean, if I can't save up for this what can I do huh?

hmm choices choices, my SL9 or Scar L.....Sl9 as its ready to go as a las gun .

I'm available the first 3 weekends of september, this means I'm not available in November. play it by ear for availability.

Well, I’ll be coming down the M1 and then A1 I guess so anyone who needs collection on the way I’ll be happy to do.

Only one main proviso – that I have a car. My car is currently dead but I am planning to buy a new one in the next month or so (I have a family, can’t really survive without one!) so it shouldn’t be an issue by the end of the year.

I’ll wait for the Gunman thread to be up but I believe this is a full weekend so we need to make sure we get FULL kit sorted.

For those who have been at Gunman before, do we need tents?
