Scheduled for September/October
I am currently searching for sites that we can host a Training Event at. The sites I’m looking at are as central as possible and the event will be a weekend – Friday evening to Sunday morning.
The Primary focus of the event is to get as many players together as possible, to meet each other and then get some light to medium role play done.
The event will not be “plot heavy” and people won’t have to think too much. I’m thinking of a “Boot camp gone bad” scenario for the weekend where it all starts off as a boot camp for 9th recruits, only for it to deteriorate into a fight for life near the end (a cross between Deliverance and Tigerland).
Any RP will be using Ver.IV Grim Darkness rules. Players Characters will all be basic only NPC's will have additional skills. Location and prices will be given once I have found a suitable site.

I have not updated this thread as I am waiting to visit The Earth Centre as a potential venue. The runners of the site have previously contacted me to investigate the possibility of using the site for LRP based events and I hope to get some movement and potentially a commitment from them when I visit at the end of this month.

Yes, this is from the guys at Cerberus. I’m keen to see what, if any, changes Cerberus have done to the site when I visit and I’m also hoping that as I have a long standing friendship with the guys at Cerberus that they’ll give me a good rate for the site for a weekend (especially if I can get a gang of use up at the site to help “de-kiddie” it).
It would be nice to see a few of you there on the 31st if any can make it though. Places are very limited now but I’d like to see a few of us there even if we are on opposite sides!

I'm up for whenever. First two weeks in September are out though... Going to Spectre Urban's last ever game on the first week and then the week after is Gamesday.
Though 31st at Cereberus sounds good. I want to go but lifts maybe a problem if my mate doesn't fancy it.

The MAIN reason I’m able to go to this Cerberus event is the fact that the train station is only 10mins walk from the site!
Places are going fast, last count there was only ONE allied spot open (American DEA forces – modern US digi camo needed, desert versions only) and only SIX rebel spots left (non-camo).
As for the training event, I’m considering waiting until after the Gunman November weekender to hold it.
