this is part of the Heresy series and as such has a set story to follow so Dan had his hands tied, not his best book, I've also not read all of his books (just the Gaunt, Eisenhorn and Ravenor novels) so it could be his worst. Unsatisfactory is how I would describe it. But try it for yourselves, if anyone wants to read it pm me your address and I'll get it off to you.
