I had my doubts about this series, how can a tin box work as the main character (nicknamed "the chair" in the first book) but it works so well. the plot twists and turns and generally acts up cranky, great read and great characterisations. I've read a lot of Abnett now and can say he hasn't fallen into the trap of so many other writers of making the characters too much alike (all having identical senses of humour for instance) gets my recomendation. note I didn't review the story and I won't write anything about it. all those plot twists I mentioned would spoil it for you
