Event One – numbers??

Where are you all?

So far I have to admit to being very disappointed by the lack of requests for booking forms for our inaugural event. I’m not asking for deposits but asking for people to at least either request a booking form or advise me on the forums or via the admin email ([e-mail]) if they plan to attend the event in December.

I currently have no numbers to go with so cannot act on constructing props or even a full plot for the weekend (as I don’t know what players are attending).

So, please, if you intend to come to this event let me know as soon as possible otherwise this event may not even happen.

YURTS!! Yes, Yurts are available for separate hire during the event. These permit communal accommodation for groups of players, provide better shelter and accommodation space than regular tents as well as meaning players do not have to erect their own tents on arrival, or take them down after.

AND….and, they all have WOODBURNERS inside providing heating!

Medium Yurt (sleeps approx. 4-5 players + kit)

- £50 for the event

Large Yurt (sleeps approx. 8-12 players + kit)

- £75 for the event

Charges for Yurts are separate to the normal event booking prices and must be paid separately (normal booking deadlines apply).

Very sadly, up until this morning a grand total of..erm..three requests.

I have had a few more this morning since my “mail shot” so I’m a bit happier now. Still not enough to cover the event, however…

…Gunman have been extraordinarily nice and offered us Tudders if we fail to get enough to cover the Candleston site hire. They don’t have the facilities of Candleston of course but we can have a full weekend event still but we’ll have to sort something out about catering I think. Not been to Tudders yet so don’t know about water or electricity supply, catering potential either..perhaps other members can aid me in this?

Booking forms to new requests going out this morning on email. Should you want one posted for whatever reason just let me know.
