Dedicated Civillian character creation rules. These still have to be fully proof read, sense checked and balanced but thought it might get peoples imagination going for an event character….
NOTE: these are not final and are subject to change before release of Ver.V rules.
Each player character has THREE skill points to spend on enhancing their basic skills. All Civilian player characters have the following basic skills at no points cost:
Melee weapons Tier 0
Battle weapons Tier 0
First field dressing
Crafting Tier 1
Upgrade/additional options:
Single Point Skills –
Radio Use
Body Armour use Tier One
Medicine
Melee Weapons Tier 1
Battle Weapons Tier 1
Two Point Skills –
Explosives use
Gunsmith
Map Reading
Battle Weapons Tier Two
Medicae Tier One
Interrogation
Languages
Computers
Demolitions expertise
Non-Combat Based Open Skill List –
It is strongly suggested that to form a fully rounded Civilian, players use one or more skills from the Non-Combat Based Open Skill list. In order to promote this, players of Civilian class characters can purchase skills from the Non-Combat Based Open Skill list at HALF value. For example ONE skill point will purchase two skills from the Tier One list, or one skill from the Tier Two list (remember any prerequisites).
*Locked* Non-Combat Skills –
ONLY Civilian characters have immediate access to the following skill in the list: Tier One Field Surgery but at the cost of THREE character points. There is no access to any other *Locked* skills or skill lists except by use of the LSA system as normal.
