Hey guys. just an update.
i think my patience in building my armour has paid off since there is now a perfect base for it as shown below:
it may be an expensive vest but i plan on using this for general airsofting too so my armour will be reversable using velcro or something of the sort to form this but in green:
the main good point about this vest is that it has a built in camelbak so i wont need to carry a bottle etc.
my new thinking is being inspired by this picture i found of tau pathfinders:

what do you guys think? i love the detail on the pulse carbine in that last picture
