I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, I hope its ok if it's here, if not, sorry!! Most of the kit you guys are using (from the pictures I have seen anyway) can be found quite easily, but I was wondering where you got your Flak Armour looking stuff from? I am intending to use something like this ( www.rsov.com/product/0/842/p_ACM-M9-bayonet-with-scabbard-rubber-blade.html) as a bayonet, although it may not be on the end of my rifle, would this be allowed under the system rules? Thanks, Greg

Flak ArmourThe bayonet is not actually LARP safe, we are looking at having a short sword style bayonet something like this

Any bayonet attached to your airsoft rifle will be there for “costume” only and classed as a Non-Combat Prop due to safety reasons.
The chances of anyone bayoneting anyone and driving there AEG barrel into them is just too high (perhaps more importantly, the chances of such an action snapping your AEG are very high!).
Melee combat is with hand-held, LRP safe certified weapons only.
Melee weapons will be safety checked prior to time-in as will all airsoft weapons (for FPS)

I dunno. Fixed bayonets are all very well, but for trench raiding you can't beat a good old fashioned sharpened E-Tool...
