Had a few thoughts about doing an Adeptus Mechanicus character. Now I have no ideas how the rules for such an entity would operate (I'm not an experienced larper) so I've just been mulling about with costuming and general jiggery pokery. He'd just a basic techpriest kinda character. He'd work with the rest of the guard fixing things and generally looking cybernetic and freaky. Will update with links to various costume parts when I can find all my saved links again

that kit is so COOL!! As for rules, well, they're not really going to be a front line combat character are they so its going to be more down to RP. The main thing I can think of off the top is that they'd be pretty tough and have plenty of technical skills.
Sounds like a concept character to put to the plot team for making a special.

Nice gear! I'd had a few vague thoughts about AdMech characters and technical skills, largely through mulling over being a Vox Operator character in the Guard. If I get time (probably over xmas) I might jot some stuff down and sumbit it for peoples thoughts. My thoughts on technical skills for IG characters was largely that they wouldn't have many. As a Vox Operator I guess my character would know how to operate the Vox set, change batteries and do very minor 'trouble shooting', but know little else about how that sort of equipment works. From reading the fluff, tinkering with technology would be frowned upon by the AdMEch.

yeah the 'Mech don't like people tinkering with technology Any of you lads got any idea where I can get a proper rust red cowel from or will I have to make my own? I also have plans for the left arm to be an 'omni-arm' so I can put different attacments on (a breacher, mailed fist etc) trying to design a servo arm aswell that'll fit into a back pack >.< it's...tricky.

TBH mate, most of the time if you can its better to buy, some one else has all the agro of making it and working it out, all you have to do is pay and unwrap.
