This is literally cut & pasted from the 9th Scarovian yahoo groups and is my take on =][=(Inquisition) Storm Trooper kit. It is by no means official, but a starting point to work something out from. So what do you think of it? Respirator's from here www.screwfix.co.uk/cats/A331070/Workwear/Protective-Clothing/Respiratory-ProtectionBody Armour www.niton999.co.uk/search.asp?search=Damascus(Alternativly I am going to see if I can make some torso armour out of 500D Nylon and Roll mat foam, and put the patterns on CD for anyone that wants one) Replica F16 Fighter Pilots Helmet/ Full scateboarders helmet and Gogles, but I think that will look too much like Black Hawk Down/ Delta Force. Black Alice Webbing Black Battle Dress Uniform Weapons G36C or UMP for the Hellgun, Non Blow Back SOCOM or USP with silencer, possably with added gubbins and Hotshot power lead to a Rear belt pouch, Possably with an increased Size Battery or Gas resovroir.

The beauty of so many units using black kit is that its interchangeable to some extent ;p - and the beuaty of those links is that if =][= troopers show up it should be easy to make a united front and add to the effect.
Add in the usual caveats that sergeants have access to gooby stuff like Plasma Pistols/Chain Swords and so on - its all good.

Ha Ha, I forgot swords. Sorry guys One of these power swords with a power coupler attached to a belt pouch me thinks. Look under Weapons, then its the camo sword 2nd from the top on the left. www.nexus-sfx.co.uk/

Thats pretty win Just a quick Q - are you modelling these on the =][= Stormtrooper figures? I was just thinking how cool a grenade launcher would be.....but I would steer away from red trousers/jackets no matter how "correct" it would be ^^

Yes mate I was. But I cant think of any matching camo.
At the moment I cant justify one of those arwen launchers, oh wait, maybe I can.
I was going to suggest dyeing the armour red, but then realised how Gak Ugly it would look .

Was a little concerned that "All Black" is also used for Naval Security but hey, what the heck. Throw some Prominent =][= on there and don't worry about the red livery says I....and thats a tidy looking mask

I'd go with gor on the choice of mask, but its a full £10 more than the one I put up.
It would look almost identical to Imperial Navy Arms man slim, but I'm at a loss as how to chang that, maybe red pannels and a shed load of =][= symbols, IG Storm troopers could possably have Alpenflarge or Auscam with an overdyed colour, much like the 9th Battle Uniform.
BTW, If you swap the armour for lower power stuff and use a shotgun for your main weapon then I think that would be Arms man.

I've got something similar to this on the go, but I'm using different stuff. For instance, I'm using the Viper MOLLE vest with shoulder pads from Airsoft World, with black coveralls and MilSpex armoured gloves. I'm also planning on adding a black full-face mask (most likely the V-Force Vantage, or something similar), a helmet and UK riot armour pads for my arms and legs. If I do decide to make it an =][= stormtrooper loadout, I'll be recolouring the helmet and the shoulder pads to maroon and adding some Inquisitorial symbols as well as a few Aquilae. I'm just a bit stuck on how to make my lasgun into a hellgun, but in such a way that I can still use it as a lasgun. I've been thinking about some kind of hose system that clips to my belt and to the bottom of a magazine (probably a Vn mag). Until then, I'll just be using a shotgun, though I will be seeing about getting a custom wood stock for it.

I have a Coiled Guitar amp lead that is a perfect donar for the Power Coupler, but I have got to figure out how to atach it to the Hellgun, as for adapting the Lasgun, I decided to get a mini moscart launcher for the G36 and box it all in al la M203 heatshield.
Any Sugestions How and Where to atach the non functioning power lead?
