My Name and Title is Flotilla Commander Eburhard Bernard Strauss, Count of Freistol and command the 38th Maelstrom Guardian Flotilla. I've been seconded to the Scarovian Legions, in particular the 9th Rifles, to give transports, supply orbital defence and provide escorts for trade barges.

Although the Flotilla is small, I assure you it is extremely well drilled and has a full compliment of crew, munitions and Mechanicus. Indeed my crews perform their tasks so well the Commissariat felt fit to remove their representatives from our ships, with the exception of Commissar Reisler who serves as a permant advisor to me.

Exact Flotilla compostition is Need To Know and subject to deep level background checks before the request is granted. All sources who are denied will be subject to immediate interview by Commissar Reisler and Sector Nav Sec.

I will not be spending time ground-side as my...duties keep me occupied star-side. Any personnel needing to see me will have to come star-side and aboard my ship, [ship class restricted] Dominus Imperialis.

It is an honour to be serving in the same theatre as such a distinguished officer as yourself.

May I suggest we put our previous disagreements aside, and start afresh?

I am sure you will agree that when we last met the heated exchange was as much to blame on circumstance as any personal malice I feel toward yourself. Many of the things that were said then I have since come to regret.

As I am sure you are aware I have now returned to full health, and I am serving under Commissar Faulk, Regimental Commissar to the 9th Scarovar Rifles. He is a very able officer, although he has a somewhat colourful background, serving first as A Storm Trooper.

If I May also offer some advice, do not underestimate Commissar Faulk if you or any of your comrades spar with him, as he is always keen to demonstrate his skill to new faces.

Commissar Faulk, I travel where the Emperor wills and my orders take me. There is no higher honour nor requirement of man but this.

My posting to this world, 'Scarovar' is only a consequence of the last Navy Commanders inability to provide adequate security for this space. I will ensure that his example is not maintained and that a new air of efficiency is kept throughout my posting.

I have never rejected an offer to a duel Commissar. It would be an honour to test you given your impressive service record with the Storm Troopers, I took the liberty of accessing your Imperial Service Record and that of all other 9th Rifles Officers. It would certainly improve relations between the Flotilla Command and the Imperial Guard. Indeed I believe Commissar Reisler has a score to settle with your Cadet.

Sir. Myself and Ensign Baalis already heading for skutland, however, I feel obliged to inform you of the history between myself and Commissar Reisler.

As you are aware, I was seriously injured during the final training exercise at the Scholem.

I was the highest achieving student, such termed the saints scholar at that particular scholem, and as such, I was commanding the final exercise against the convicts used as "Live Targets" as is the norm.

It is my belief that Commissar reisler was solely to blame for the accident, and my resulting injury and the death of my crewmate in the Grav Glider.

The damage was the result of HE Round fired from an Imperial Pattern MkIVX Grenade Launcher. Commissar Reisler was the only person in the area armed with such a weapon, and I gave him specific instructions that the only grenades he used were smoke and signal rounds, as I wanted a stealth insertion and Silent pre dawn attack, using knives and silenced pistols, using the Grenade launcher to lay the smoke to cover the retreat.

I consulted the masters, and requested a hearing, but the incident was hushed up, and Commissar reisler was shipped out. I had hoped that our paths would never cross, however it seems fate has deemed otherwise.

Unfortunatly docking rights to the Dominus Imperialis will be temporarily denied as all docking bays are undergoing mandatory maintenance. The shuttle bays are fully operational, but only one bay is vacant, this will limit your entourage to a maximum of 4 personel in accordance with maximum shuttle capacity. I hope this will not disrupt any plans you had laid down.

Regarding the 'incident' at the Scholam, it is in the past. Lessons have be learned, to allow it to interfere with the day to day duties must not be allowed. I here by respectfully request that all inquiries into the 'incident' be dropped in favour or more pressing matters. To allow it to interefere would be inefficient at best and dereliction of immediate duties at worst. Reisler knows my wishes on this and while I have no direct control over him, I believe he understands my position.

These delays are intolerable! I put in an order for those supplies a day and a half ago! I have Inquisitorial backing, my requests will be inserted only to the top of list, unless the Emperor Himself puts in a requisition form and that I find unlikely.

If these supplies are not on the designated transport 'Diligence' within the next 12 hours, I will personally come planet-side to oversee the loading. Not only that but I will ensure that you are ejected from your current post and re-assigned to the one of the Escorts in orbit as a Recycling System Operator! Such inefficiency will not go unpunished!

Whether you know it or not these supplies are critical to the continued operation of the Dominus Imperialis and it would not be worth your while delaying it further.
