Looking like a hand flamer I’ve read that it’ll be released in June of this year. Personally, I feel this may still be a hoax as I can’t really see what the hell you’d paint with it?!? Link to forum discussing it in more detail: forums.tauonline.org/index.php?topic=62435.30

Lets be face facts, if they thought that someone would buy it of course they would do it, it'll probably be airbrush sized for the larger tanks and stuff. Just read the thread and the actual customers seem to have the same idea as me about GW.

"GW Propellant. And GW is, in fact, now going to be charging us for air." I knew it, it was allways only a matter of time
on a seriouse note, im suprised that GW left so long between pulling the coloured spreay paint and releasing an airbrush.
But I'll stick with my badger airbrush and my own choice of paint, thank you very much GW.

Interesting that they were planning on dropping the inks, probably not enough profit in them.

Never used em, cant see the point tbh, its just more expense, when you think of what else they are charging for glue, spray undercoat, pva+ flock for basing etc, not to mention the extra effort.
Humbrol matt clear varnish spay is much better imho.

The inks worked a treat on orks, could do muscles nice and easy. Was sort of cheating a bit though.

Why would using inks in this way be cheating? It’s one of the final methods I always used to produce good results, particularly good when you have clothing that you want to give good shadow too.
It was always a matter of putting about 5 coats of dry brushing on to highlight then ink to deepen the shadow and pick out detail and then perhaps another 2+ coats of very light dry brushing to take the shine off.

yeah I always thought it was the best way too, but my friends tended to disagree... Tend not use em at all with my guard though.
