Semi-Only AEG’s upgraded – I would not personally wish to see any electric powered RiF (i.e. AEG) on the field, under any guise, firing more than 380fps as an absolute limit.
IF someone really wants to use an AEG as a sniper variant AND want to make it Semi fire only, and its upto but not over 380fps, then this will have to be clearly shown (such like an external bolt physically preventing the fire selector moving)…and pretty “tamper proof”…to the Refs at the start of the event.
It’s highly likely that such a weapon will be subject to close marshal/ref checking throughout the event which may hamper your RP experience.
Scout and other RP skills – I’m going to try and get at least some of these new skills up on the Rules Forum this week. Got some deadlines at work however, and homelife isn’t exactly conducive to such work (6 week old baby in the house) but I’ll do my best.
I fully realise that currently the system is firmly geared to Combat and closely related skills that will provide “some” Role Play but not sufficient for many experienced LRP’ers. This WILL be addressed.
However, the system will always be heavily combat orientated as in the 40k universe “there is only war”…but there is plenty of scope for LRP within that and I hope to enhance this feature of the system so that Role Players don’t just feel themselves as support classes for the fighters as in so many other systems.
