Out of interest what would a M134a Minigun counts as in the system? If its in the predator configuration it wouldn't have a bipod... but I guess there is always the tripod and spade grips option. Would it be a heavy stubber or could it pass as an assault cannon or even multi laser?

If we are lucky enough to get one it would have to be an assault cannon.

You'd hardly get a shot off before people ran for cover!
...but I agree - Assault Cannon

Re: Medic Rules.
If a character spends two points at creation to go for "Field Surgeon Tier 1" does he gain the benefit of any "lower" ranked skills such as Medicae? It stands to reason that a Surgeon knows everything a Medicae would know and more, but I don't know how the system reflects this.

Surgeon is no longer attainable from character incept (the rules should reflect that now) but possible by special application to the Plot Team (myself and the others running the system) or by use of the Long Service Award system.
Basically, a starting character can attain Medicae Tier One but they won’t automatically have the benefit of any of the Infantry Medic Tier skills.
I know that sounds odd but what is DOES do is allow a player who chooses to take Medicae Tier One with there starting character (they cannot attain Tier Two or Three at inception), is to add a couple of levels of Infantry Medic to their Medicae skill.
Example – if you choose to this route you could get Medicae Tier One (two points), Infantry Medic Tier One (one point).
Whilst Medical skills of the SAME LEVEL are not stackable, medical skills ARE stackable moving JUMP in levels!
So, you attend a wounded man and treat him using your base skill of First Field Dressing. This adds 10mins to his grace period. You could THEN apply a Tier One Infantry Medic dressing which will ADD a further 15mins to his grace period (so he’ll have 35mins of grace at this point) – both dressings must remain bound on the wounded player.
However, at this point he is merely “stable” and if he’s been wounded in the Torso or Head he still can’t do much other than writhe, walk slowly and other basic things.
You both wait a bit, perhaps you dash off to attend other wounded knowing that this guy (assuming he doesn’t get shot again!) won’t be dying in the next half hour.
You return to him with 10mins remaining, the fire fight is over and the area pretty secure. Now using your Medicae skill you attempt to repair the wound itself and use your Wound Counters to find out the result.
I hope that clarifies things

No, thats much clearer. It does indeed sound odd but it works from the pov of the system so its all fine. Edit: Nearly forgot - is there a .pdf of the system stored anywhere for easy reference and printing? Would be nice to have it at hand without turning on the PC

Sorry no PDF yet. I want all the rules - once I know they work and won't change - to be on a .pdf and stored for download as that makes life much easier for players and presents the professional image I want. However, I dont have any Word-PDF conversion software AND this free forum has no storage capacity.
That said, Kren has offered me storage space when I'm ready for it so we'll just link in via his Fifth Season site when the time comes.
Currently though, feel free to copy and paste the rules out or I can email individuals who request copies directly.

I did have an Adobe Plug-in for Word that allowed you to store word files as PDF so I'll see if its around - if not I'll see if I can acquire something.

I can always crunch a document out into a PDF for you Manius, and if you want to go the whole hog I'll get it laid out by a professional printer as well...

Well laid out PDF will do fine, hosted by yourself - even better! Need graphics though and graphics that don't break any copywrite.
...on that topic I must post our standing on GW copywrite to make things clear for any casual visitors.

Question:
It states in the Uplifting Primer that Sanctioned Psykers are always accompanied by at least three Guardsmen which while accurate could be a little bit tricky to play (lack of crew at events, lack of RP Opportunities on the Boards) so whats the official verdict? ;p

That is not required in the rules. I don't envisage changing that but if a player with a Sanctioned Psyker character has two friends who want to Role Play that set up then we have no opjections.
