yeh true thats why i decided it was too difficult so ive moved on to a story where humans are now trusted or "have proven themselves" as the tau's opinion would have it. i know what i would do for human boots in that case something along the lines of this: so its just a standard boot with some "armour plating on the front". once i have finished most of my assignments i will be starting my projects and the list is only getting bigger lol

Was speaking to someone who was at a Maelstrom event playing a gnoll (7 foot tall dog thing) he was using a set of the sprung stilts www.pro-jump.co.uk/Expensive but would certainly give exactly the look we are after.

Wouldn't these be more appropriate for a Battle Suit costume? I mean, Tau warriors (even pathfinders) are short buggers.

The description of Tau in the uplifting primer and other sources has them as taller than average humans, read the "rogue trader" series as the main antagonists are Tau for reference.

That'll show me for trusting Caphius Cain to give a decent description!

well the plates are very easy to do since i have access to a vaccuum former but if i was a fire warrior then it would prob be about 2ft long by about 1 wide
