Lt Watts,
I'm afraid my German stretches to the English Commando comic from the late 1980's "Gott in Himmel", "Nicht Schiesen", and lets not forget "for you ze war is over." Very well done on the language.
By drawings I mean Technical Diagrams or schematics of the Carapace Armour.
I hope that makes sense to you.

Lt - I've approved your account so you can access the forum more fully, you won't have access to any private forums but feel free to ask for one for youselves. If you want a copy of the rules system we're going to use I can email this to you as I'm currently waiting on a hosting for a PDF copy.

Thanks to all........ I´m not an master in using PC´s I´can´t repair them by welding and grinding.... ;D sometimes I´don´t understood what I´m doing there..... But working with steel or metal is cool..........all Items on the homepage in the department "Ausrüstung" are manufactured by myself( only the light laspistol and the 3barrel-shotgun built by other squad members, but all weldings and works with the lathe( is this the correct word???) also done by me! I´m mostly work free...without detailed plans and drawings..only with some sketches done fast by the hand, contents some measures for reference( from figures or imperial armour books) You can see some detailed pics on "Ausrüstung". Ónly the heavy bolter was detailed measured by me... The vision at the beginning of the project was....look dammed good because i´m a little militant not an follower of the word "authentic" like the codizies on the tabletop(the imperial army can´t use an assault gun.... : harhar...the cadians take what they need to be succesfull..for the emperor. greets Lt. Watts

Lt, if you’re interested in having a go at making armour using what we call “plasticard” (2mm thick deformable plastic sheeting) then I point you towards this website: www.studiocreations.com/howto/index.htmlStudio Creations have many plans for Star Wars based armour (Clone Troopers etc) and full instructions on how to work with and vacuum form plastics for the armour. I’ve found them very informative and a perfect source for carapace style armour.

Very nice and comprehensive site, if I had closed my current "big" project( a very british project ;D) .... then I would build up a second equipment as an Guardsmen of the VIII cadian guard regiment, without inquisition. Then I´ll use this stuff...... its like an experiment and a new experience...................my last handling of plastic sheets are 20years ago...the time I build modelplanes and tanks . Because of the question about drawings, I can send some detailed fotos and sketches with the system of the parts how to weld the armour... bye Lt. Watts

Lt Watts, It is true you cant repair them with grinders or welding them, but I have found a kick from a good pair of safety boots or the attention of a hammer work wonders.

Grinders dont fix them, But they sure show them who is boss. Oh, and dont drill a hard disk, unless you are using a fixed drill and you clamp the disk in place.
Who can tell I love these things?

Drilling hard disks is fun, but using a claw hammer is far better

Yeah, but it takes forever to get into the caseing. Those things are built like black box flight recorders.

You Vandal. What you want is a high pressure shot blasting rig, an old computer, and an empty afternoon.
