Here is a place to post your pics of yourself in uniform. Any Regiment, detachment or specialisation is acceptable. I'll kick things off with my Commissar's uniform. Sorry about the really crappy quality, was taken on my webcam at hallowe'en. I'll get a better one when I have time.

Great start. All you need now are the golden epaulettes and a red Commissarial sash.
I'll see about getting some pics of me in uniform at some point.

I really like the gorget. I don't suppose you could make one in the 18th century cresent style but with an Aquila instead of a Royal coat of arms?

Why not "Modify" a Repro WW2 Field police gorget? It allready has the eagle, all you would have to do is modify it to an aquilea and grind off the "Fieldpolitzi" Slogan. Granted it wont look as good as the edwardian British officers gorget. Edit, Found this. But cant get the links to work. Un Polished, $30, less than £50 for two including shipping, just grind/ fill the makings and add an Aquillea, then Polish the whole lot up. Embossed Gorget www.therifleshoppe.com/(042).htm Engraved Gorget www.therifleshoppe.com/(041).htmWhat do you think?

I would have gone for the German one but I don't like the shape. Anyway there is pictorial evidence of Imperial Commissars using the British style.
