What about the website mate? Would you be interested in putting a joint order in? Also looking for Rad lace for the cuffs, napolionic war style, what do you think?
Anyone seen red bullion epeulets? I got some off e-bay and when they turned up yesterday they were silver.

I might be but I'm not sure I could remove the crest, technically it's illegal to deface the crest and more importantly it's embossed so there is no way to grind it off. However I will look around and see if there's something else we can do a joint order on.

I prefer the engraved one, use silver miliput to fill it it and pollish off the exess. The other option is that ask them for just a plain gorget, if they have to make em to order, they should be ok with that as it is less work for them. Edit www.sutlers.co.uk/acatalog/Napacc.html Sword Sling anyone?

The sword belts are far superior to the sling and more apropriate for a rifle regiment. Also the loop on the swrod sling looks a touch small for a LARP blade.

fair enough. But dont forget I'm a short a*** so a belt may well be too low.

You can do the gorget simply by yourself.... Two sheets of steel or brass, thickness 2mm....one is used as an ground plate, the other one for the Eagle, Scull whatever you want. I grind and cut the eagle with 1mm cutting( but, please, wear safety glasses ) discs free handed, only with an pencil sketch on the sheet. It will be done in 1/2 hour.....then I weld the Eagle on the ground plate( only four points). Drill the holes for the rivets and the chain, insert the steel rivets ,fix the chain...ready to go ;D Costs nearly 10€, working time at this little gimmick one and a half hour.

the only thing I'm still lacking is flak armour. One reason is that I can't afford it just now but the other one is that I'm still undecided if I'm going to take Carapace instead. Most officers will have Carapace but flak will be easier to phys-rep. Webbing is on its way, I have my AK for a physrep bolter (will have to work on making it chunkier though) and everything else is set.
EDIT - webbing has just arrived on my desk!!

I am awaiting the BDU's, I have the webbing (and a water bottle of a differant type) gaiters, flack vest and Berret I need an Aquilla for the berret and will need patches for the BDU's when they arrive. My long las should be well under way by then as well.

Now I´ve found the pic I´ve been looking for.... One prototype of the armour tested one the shooting range... shoots will be fired by .22Hornet, 9mmPara, .45 ACP, .357 Mag, .38special.....all this do´nt penetrate the armour...distance between 2 and 20meters. Only the shotgun 12/76 firing with slugs and the .50 S&W Revolver design some holes in the armour....
