The breastplate is a cool idea, if you contact norton they could probably put a winged skull in the front coloured brass or something. Manius: for my part I already have the Jackboots and greatcoat from my list, I'm aiming for the dolman and cap next. The armour the cadet was talking about would beone of these, Flemish (my favourite) www.nortonarmouries.com/shop/product.asp?ProdID=4915th century www.nortonarmouries.com/shop/product.asp?ProdID=232and are made from hybrid polyurethane. Cadet Commissar: What you're thinking sounds spot on thoul I ould question the full frogged dolman if you're going to cover it with a breastplate. The gorget I forgot about but is somewhat vital to the look. The key is finding a plain one or getting one made with suitable imperial iconography (an Aquila or winged skull).

@manius. The armour is made of a flexible PU Rubber using moulds of original period examples. And I allready have everything exept the Tunic/Dolman, Leather Equipment and the armour. (Though my commissar wont make an outing till attendance warrents a bigger command cadre)
The greatcoat may vary some what from Cybersoldiers, I got it off a local market for £89, the sash is a cadets Colour Sgt Sash I nabbed a few years ago.
@cybersoldeir. Fraid not man, they mould it then spray paint it. The only possibility is if I can do a cutt out using a carry matt, then paint it, but I'm no sure how good it would be.

What I mean is, Norton do custom work, you just need to ask.

Aye, I'll ask em at mealstrom in sept. BTW, do you want to come, its the w/e 11th sept. Plenty of scope for a drunkan, swash buckling swordsman. Edit: Oh, and there is an IC brothel. www.chamberofdelights.co.uk

I like the respirotor, is it just a Paintball mask with a pair of "Filters"? It looks really simple, yet effective and would be brilliant for our use.

@cadet commissar: Sorry about the late answer, cause I had an accident and get wounded on the right hand(cut off 3 sinews to 70%)...thats the reason, at this moment using a PC ist not my best profession But your are right, its a airsoft mask, I cut off two holes, and fix two plastic blocks( without funktions) with an special silicone glue used for sealing cars. Later I´ll paint the mask with green and black rubber paint. But currently I can´t work anything............. Greets watts
