You can do the gorget simply by yourself.... Two sheets of steel or brass, thickness 2mm....one is used as an ground plate, the other one for the Eagle, Scull whatever you want. I'm afraid I am very lazy when it comes to making stuff, And since I also need one for my Napolionic officers Immpression, I was thinking of just getting a few spair. Thanks for the suggestion though.

A friend shoots on this shooting range (300mtrs) with his "sporting" guns like the benelli shotgun and his sniper rifle . Its one of 6( I think so!) shooting ranges in germany where its allowed to use .50BMG for sport shooting. One member of this shooting club owns the .500S&W as an regular sporting pistol ;D

Erm….that’ll be me who messed with the profanity filters when I opened the forums to make them a bit more “amusing”.
…guess it worked!
On-Topic – I’d make a plaster cast of my chest so I could vac-form something similar for myself as a carapace basis but I fear greatly for my chest hair! However, with the potential to make it something I could use in Grim Darkness AND fantasy LRP (plate armour)…I’m getting more and more interested in this for a project.

If you're not in the know about body casting I'd suggest you contact me before trying this... using plaster can be dangerous if you don't do it right (it gets hot, VERY hot if in large amounts, and can lead to some pretty nasty burns...)

- Ok, I can't stop laughing now...but I'll change the filter.
Body Casting - was only planning on doing an upper chest cast, similar to marine armour chest section. Its going to take quite a bit of planning first though so don't hold yer breath.
