I like it more and more to see the pics of the own equipment.......and it looks every day a little bit more real... now this little experiment with the gimp program are very funny, I think but working on the pc is´nt my strong side...  but som day , I hope I can use all items of this program. I love it to work with this ...but is not all around beautyfull...there are some guys in the squad have only a minimum of enthusiasm for this hobby at this time...  We reorganize the squad in an elite commando section an an reserve unit.... Greets watts |

Hi Guys,
I was wondering what your standard 'Brad-patt' camo is and if you ccan get it by the meter?
I'm looking at making a CIRAS style body armour cover and a German style smock to go over a set of OD fatigues

The “Brad-PAT” is regulation ACU over dyed with OD (we have used Dylon #34). It’s a very good pattern as it retains the disruptive pattern but obviously tones the ACU down to a more woodland friendly shade.

Dying ACU would make it work in woods! thought I'd think it makes a subtle camo pattern, I was look at something a little more striking (Like the swedish stuff ltericwatts uses)
Will have to see if I can get ACU by the meter.....

Hey! ACU works in woods as well...as long as there's a smattering of snow on the ground anyway (wink).
