Perhaps combine that jacket and coat with a red sash? Maybe trousers with a red stripe?
Personally, the black and red screams Commissar to me, but it's really your choice...

Id agree with the LT. And since im getting the same impression we have to be co-ordinated dont we? Maybe add a few more bits of gold & silver to your existing outfit.

With a few minor tweaks, your current uniform is really pretty damn impressive dude. Not much call for a complete overhaul imo

Other than the fact I like swanning about in fine clothes The thought I had was to use the above mentioned items when actually airsofting. Being that they are made of denim type heavy cotton (similar to what the flektarn armour covers are made of), rather than lined serge wool, it would be a good deal more comfortable when running about. I'll be using the other as my dress uniform (more about that in the 9th section).

WIMP
I used to airsoft in Full German Woollen kit. Is is really going to be that inpractical if the event is going to be in winter?
Anyway, if you still want to go ahead with this kit, let me know ASAP dude.

When it comes to coordinating, from the fluff I’ve read, a Commissar’s uniform is anything but. I remember reading in Honour Guard the differences in uniform between Hark and Gaunt. Also from looking at various paint jobs I’ve seen blue, white, red and even green uniforms. As far as I’m concerned it’s pretty much up to the individual commissar to pick the most inspiring/intimidating uniform in his eyes, providing you can look at the costume and say “he’s a Commissar” that’s all that really matters. Just mak sure you don't forget the blue trim to denote cadet status.
I think you’re right about the red Lt, however, I’m now torn between using a shoulder or waist sash. Thoughts?

Waist.... more like Sharpe! Personally don't like the look of shoulder sashes...
